Last year my dbf and I went to wdw the day after his birthday. We celebrated his birthday with many special things that I had planned and our itinerary planner helped us with.
This year we will be going a whole week after his birthday. Do you still think I should note it on our ressie or do you think that a week is too long after his birthday?

I'm going to be in the unpopular bunch I'm sure. I voted No. At what point is it "over"? I mean a week is a week.

I vote yes -- we often celebrate birthdays not on the real day even outside WDW. If you have a chance to all be together in a great place and it's around someone's birthday -- I say,

Celebrate!!

I was just curious what kind of special birthday stuff is there to do? I will be going in Sept. and celebrating 3 birthdays, my son, husband and mom's (and they all fall on the dates when were there). I want to get them a cake, but not sure how. Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!

We were there for a birthdays a couple of times, and we told them at breakfast lunch and dinner, and had a lot of fun seeing what fun thing they came up with. It's more the funny fuss they make than the birthday treat that we enjoyed!

Go for it! Note it in the reservation! Why Not? It's a special day, so let Disney take care of you!

Last year we had a cake delivered to the room. The hotel left a nice birthday card for him and he had a special fuss made over him at several restaurants.

I voted yes. Go for it.

Me and my twin sister always try to celebrate our birthday as long as possible.....LOL

We celebrated the whole week when we were there in 2000.

Thanks guys....I think I will note it on the ressie that we will be celebrating DBF's birthday. Our first night's dinner will be at Cali grill. Do you think I should just mention it when we go to check in at the podium?
