Boy, did I get some really good stuff on my generator and battery threads.

The problem is I am REALLY, REALLY dense. Maybe I should have went to a TECH School instead of College to become an Accountant.

OR

Maybe DENSE = CAUTIOUS.

In my younger hot rodding days, I got knocked on my skinny (skinny back then) BUTT from a 12V battery that had a dead short. My ears rang for hours.

I like the idea of pulling the truck up to the storage compartment of the batteries in parallel and using jumper cables to juice them back up, without cooking them.

Now please don't laugh---Well, really I am open to 'Boy this guy is a nitwit'.. After the next paragraph, I will crawl away and not bother you good peeeeples for awhile.

Charging the batteries in parallel from my truck with jumper cables, 'DO YOU HAVE TO UNHOOK (dis-connect) THE BATTERY POSITIVE CONVERTER WIRE ASSEMBLY CONNECTION or can you leave the converter attached while jumping truck battery to trailer batteries ??????

Thanks again, john

As long as you hook the jumper cables up right you should be OK. A converter has a diode in it that only allows electricity to flow one way.

I have had to jump or charge batteries in the past with no ill effects.
