Another Baby Swap question

Ok this has probably been asked this before but to me the whole "baby swap" just confuses me.

How does it work?

For example would i queue up for BTM with my brother and his girfriend with my daughter aswell and once they had rode it pass my daughter over to them so i can ride it?

It all sounds so confusing. I mean how would this work for ToT and other rides?

I have 3 children and have used baby swap alot, its great

BTM you wait at the exit with the child, you need to tell cm that you are doing baby swap, the other person/s queue and ride (they need to tell cm that doing a baby swap) then when they finished its you turn and they wait with the child. Some rides are like this where you wait at the exit and others you do have to queue up altogether like Star Tours.
Not sure with ToT , not been on it yet, but will find out in July
