Another Baby Swap Question...

I was wondering, will they let us all wait in line together?

Like, I get that we get the rider switch pass, and that person has to go back through the line. But, we want to wait in line together, you know? Or am I totally not understanding it right?

Like, say I go through the line, while Nic takes DS, then we switch. But, he can wait in line with me, then just exit, right?

They will not let the child that is not tall enough to ride enter the line except at Star Tours which is the only ride that has you swap at the loading area.

One parent rides while the other watches the child and then the other parent rides with the Rider Switch pass at their convenience as it's good all day.

If you get a FP for the first rider then you won't be separated very long.

I actually prefer the swap this way because the baby/young child dosen't hve to wait in a long line for something they can't ride. FWIW there is usually something fun to do with a child nearby while waiting. DH and I both enjoy our 1-1 time with the kids while swaping, we do a favorite ride, visit a playground, see a show or just sit on a bench with an ice cream.

I'm totally interested in that list!

DS'll only be 9 months, so there's not much he'll be able to do. But, we figured we'd do it for Test Track and EE, since they're the only things we'd want to ride at those 2 parks, but we can get a babysitter for one of our days and do MK/DHS split.

Oh the tips I have are more for the toddler preschool age, we travel with my neice and nephew alot and they are 3 and 5.

I think if it were DH and I with a 9mo I would probably just use the time to do a diaper and catch a show or live entertainment with the baby.

Let's see in your case for For TT, and or MS I would probably head toward the WS and catch a set of Off Kilter, British Invasion or Moroccin while DH rides and then switch off. For EE I would take a stroller through one of the two walking trails and watch the monkeys or look for the white tiger. The flights of wonder show is fun and even a 9mo would probably enjoy the birds.

You didn't ask but if you haven't thought of it already consider bringing along a sling or snugli. You can't bring a stroller in lines and there are a few pavilions where strollers arn't allowed so when my kids were young a sling was a lifesaver.
