I will be activating my AP when I arrive at DLR in a few weeks and would like to take advantage of APEE, but I know it takes a day after activation to reserve APEE spots and they have to be reserved 3 days in advance. SO my question is, has anyone done this? Were there APEEs available that close? I will be there for enough days if I extend by one day, so just wondering if I should add a day to my hotel reservation in hopes that this could work.

Any help and thoughts are much appreciated!

Also, never had an AP before--any tricks or tips about activating? Does that just happen at any ticket booth?

THANKS again!!:wave2:

We just got home 30 minutes ago from 10 days at DLR. We arrived 6\30 and after 24 full hours from the activation of our APs we were able to make our APEE ressies. We went to DCA on 7\6 and DL today 7/9. I was having connection problems at DLH with my IPad so I called in my ressies. I can't speak highly enough about the APEE days. When we went to DCA we were able to go on all 3 Carsland attractions and eat breakfast at Flos by 7:45AM. At DL this morning we were able to go on every attraction open (and stay on Matterhorn and Space mutiple times) and still make our Carnation 8AM ressie. The phone number to call to make your ressies is 714-781-7277.

I will say for us APEE were WAY less crowded than the Hotel EMH days.

We went right to a ticket booth to activate and it took a couple of minutes. They give you your AP and then when you enter the park have a photo pass photg take your picture. It's really fast and easy!

Thanks so much for your reply! We will activate our passes as soon as we can and try to get some APEE times. Were those days you mentioned the first available times for you? And thanks for the info about activating APs and the number to call to schedule EEs, too! You are most helpful!
