Right now I figure I'll rent a car for a couple of days.
However...to me a vacation means that I get time off from my mom duties, too. I love Magic Express at WDW!
Last time we did Disneyland there was no reliable public transit to any of the area beaches. I ended up booking with Tony the Limo King. It was $100 for the round trip and my kids got a real kick out of it. For me, let's just say that looking back, I'll treasure it as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Have any companies started offering transportation to local beaches? We'd like to do Laguna again, and I kind of figure that if we do I'll rent a car.
If there's transportation to Newport or any of the other closer beaches (family beaches, that is) I'd love to hear about it!
