Another Annual Pass ???

I am researching the best price for an annual pass (no black out dates b/c we will revisit at Christmas. ) All I can see are Florida residents. Only Florida residents can get Annual Passes????

You just have to click "not a florida resident" on that page. They obviously need to fix this on their website. This is at least the third thread in two months with people not being able to figure out how to buy non-FL resident APs.

The non-resident cost of the Preferred AP is $229.99 plus tax...it has no blackout dates and park discounts apply.

Thanks for the help. I think US should take advantage of all the HP fans and offer a discount on APs to force..I mean encourage repeat visits. If people spring for an AP they would be more likely to come again. Even a modest 10% would make people (me ) feel like I was getting a bargain. I never really thought about US until WWOHP so if they get me to come and I like WWOHP and bought an AP they probably converted me into a redheaded child. Right now I'm strawberry blonde.

Well...it's still a great bargain for what you get and if you live close enough to make multiple visits, it's a steal. You will still get discounts on food and merchandise and free parking...after the first visit. It will pay for itself in no time. BTW...the price of the Preferred AP is only $10.00 cheaper for FL residents so again...it's not a bad deal.

There has to be some more options coming as Publix in the last few months have taken away all their gift card options for tickets and has Teaser Cards up with "New Ticket Options Coming" written in the Harry Potter font.

I keep thinking that at some point in the future we will see a combined AP for Universal & Sea World because of Blackstone owning at least part of both resorts. I said this a year ago but nothing has happened....yet. I think it's just a matter of time though.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't find the non-FL passes, and sent an email to Universal. They replied that non-resident were only available at the gate. I'd rather get them up front.

What a real bummer about the passes. We have a Preferred and the rest are power passes. I went to publix earlier about 2 months ago and the gift cards could NOT BE PURCHASED. I grabbed up 4 of them for out trip, and the manager told us (after the cashier tried in vain to scan them), that Universal had DEACTIVATED THEM. So, I wouldn't count on using any passes. I really am starting to Not like the way they do business. It's shady. They have a right to run a business, but if they are starting to remind me of Microsoft. Isn't this supposed to be about Family Fun? Granted no one is begging me to go, and I don't have to buy the tickets, but since I am entitled to my opinion; This practice of changing the rules every year totally SUX!!!
