another annual pass discount question

sorry if this has been asked before , but done a search and couldn't find the answer

we have 4 days left each on our MYW passes
can I use theses towards getting PAP's and get the DVC discount as well

Yes. They will help you with this at the Guest Service window of any of the parks or the one in Downtown Disney.

As I understand it, Disney recently changed its ticket upgrade policies such that only UNUSED tickets can be redeemed for credit toward the purchase of a different pass. Days remaining on old passes can be used, but Disney will no longer give partial credit for unused days on an extended pass.

Be sure to ask what the value of the remaining days is before you agree to trade the unused portion of your MYW tickets for an AP or PAP.

MYW tickets are front-end loaded. For example, the last few days of a 10 day ticket can be worth as little as $7 or $8 each. Much better to save them and use them for admission on a later trip (assume you bought the no-expiration feature).

Thanks for the info yes I added on the no expiration, so maybe it would be better to see if I could top them up to a 10 day pass again ,if I can do this
