I was just exploring the Disney World site planning and tweaking my trip and I noticed that Anna and Elsa have now changed times back to 9:00AM for the first greet! I am super excited about this! I have an ADR at Akershus at 8AM, so my hubby who is a fast eater is going to eat and then go get in line for them and when me and the kids are done we will join him. I guess they liked the way the 9AM start time flowed with them so they are making the switch permanent?
I totally agree with the 9AM start time otherwise the line is backed up like 4 hours before they even start! I can't wait to tell my hubby about this, he will be thrilled that he won't have to wait in line for 2 hours. But I will recheck the time status when it gets closer to the trip since they have been changing times around! ::yes::::yes::

If he is going to eat first you might end up being In the line for the 10 am meet or even the 11 am meet. People are coming in at 8 am with Akershus reservations just to get in line for them.

Hmm maybe I will tell him to grab something to eat at the resort then and he can miss the breakfast. Thanks for the insight!

People coming out of breakfast right before 9 on Monday, when the park opened still had a great spot on line. I was in line at 8, they didn't even build the queue until about 840. When the gates opened 850, the first runners made it back by about 9 and were still in the first queue.

Wow! Well hopefully we will get a good spot in line then lol, my son is dying to meet Elsa. I think he is more excited to meet Elsa then he is to meet the characters of Hollywood & vine lol and he was pretty excited when I told him about Sofia and doc. LoL

We have 8:15 breakfast reservations (early May) at Akerhaus. What time should I plan on leaving breakfast to get in line to see Elsa and Anna? My husband and daughter can meet up with me there after breakfast. Which way should I head from Akerhaus to get where I need to be?

Thank you~

From what I heard from other dissers , the m&g que is directly acrossed from akershus. What I have also heard are they have seen some people just paying the no show fee at akershus just to get into line for the m&g. I would assess the situation when u get there. If there are already people in line I would eat quickly and get over there as soon as u can.

I am gonna have my hubby eat on the go and skip the breakfast to wait in the line while I take the kids to breakfast. Then we will join him when we are done

Its right outside. Check and see but people getting in line around 845 on Monday were told a 45-60 min wait

I have an 8:20 Rez at Akershus on a non-EMH Saturday (4/26). I was planning to get there as early as possible, wolf down my breakfast, and let DH and DD5 finish up while I get in line around 8:40. As long as I'm in line before the runners get there, I'll be happy. The only characters my daughter is insistent upon meeting are A&E, so I'll make it happen. We have an Akershus dinner another time, and CRT as well, so I'm not concerned about missing the Akershus character experience at the breakfast.
