Sounds like Fantasmic was a hit. I think you didn't make it there during your last vacation, right?

We are now officially returning for a week, beginning on Thanksgiving day 08. Hopefully the crowds will thin out by the end of the week. We just couldn't pass up an opportunity to see all the Christmas events.

My husband has been transferred to Washington State, so we have our house on the market. We invited my folks and sisters to join us next Thanksgiving so we know we will get at least one opportunity to see them over the holidays.

It is going to be so much fun to plan this far in advance.

Billy wore his necklace briefly, but when he began to chew on it I decided to take it off. Oh well, one more for me!

For whatever reason, this had me cracking up.

We can't do Fantasmic because MB is afraid of the dark. Poor kid.

I had read on the TR boards that many DISers had lots of fun spreading a bit of magic by passing out glow jewelry at nighttime parades and shows, so I had bought our glow-stuff in bulk! I knew exactly who was going to get the first one…the little boy sitting in front of me.

Awww, you are so darn sweet. I am glad you helped that spread the pixie dust. You not only made that little boy happy, you helped out his mom too .

Nice family. From Jersey, of course!

I found that out, so many Jersey families were so kind and friendly with us. We loved the Jersey people .

Now, while we had been waiting for the Fantasmic crowd to thin, I had been fussing about trying to zip over to Tatoonie Traders. We had a DIS-meet scheduled the day after next with mrsksomeday and YodaK, and I really wanted to pick up a little something that was Star Wars-related. Finally, Ed told me to take Tricia and go while he would walk with Billy and AR toward the main exit. Tricia and I took off in a trot…naturally, she soon began to get too far ahead of me for comfort, and I called to her to slow down. Usually the stores are open a little past the official closing time, but we had to cross practically the entire park. The further we got from Echo Lake, the darker and less populated it became. It felt a little creepy, actually!

You and Tricia are too adorable, going across the almost deserted park for Bill. It sounded creepy. You really didn't have to do it, Bill says thank you again .

I marveled that we were already done with our first full day! A short wait later, we were rumbling our way back to the Wilderness Lodge.

You are an excellent trip planner, that is why you got all that done in one day.

The doll kind of reminds me of Binder Buddy. They'll have to meet someday.

One of these days, I'll make it to Fantasmic.....

Great update!! Loved the pics! That was nice of you to spread the pixie dust around like that!

Our kids love those big tubs with the jets and bubbles too, although, the first time they accidentally turned the jets on, they both shrieked and got out. LA was crying-it really scared her!
