Another ? about the AAA parking pass

I am a member of AAA...can you just show your card to get preferred parking?

To get a pass from AAA, you just have to ask or do you need to book travel with them?

You need to book a package through AAA in order to get the parking pass. You can't just show your membership card to park. We almost always book a package with them because we've gotten great rates. On our upcoming trip, our AAA price is $400 less than the price going through Disney, for the same package.

I just called my local office & you have to purchase lodging from them to get the pass

Does anyone know how the parking situation works if you are staying offsite? Like how much per day, that sort of thing?

Believe it or not just showing my AAA card worked one day for me at MGM (hollywood studios).

So I guess it depends on your branch....I'll call our local AAA.

NOTE - it doesn't get you any discount on parking. What it does get you is parking in a special AAA lot that is closer to the entrance. There is no tram service from the AAA lot, so you will walk from there to the entrance.
