Sorry, these are becoming a pain in the bum! DBf has a seperate booking to me-long story, but he is travelling at the same time as me and staying in my room. Our Virgin travel docs arrived seperately- he has a vouche for DTD check in with his and I don't-is it an oversight and do I need a voucher to check in there?
I've never received one in my docs before-if its any help, his docs actually have him as a fly drive-I'm assuming cos hes not booked a room as such, just sharing mine. Hoping for a quick reply-if I do need a voucher myself, I need to get on to Virgin holidays Calcutta or wherever they are these days!

I never had a vochure for DTD check in when I went in september, they just checked my ticket.

Oh Claire , thanks so much for the quick reply. I know I never had one before and wasn't sure if it was a new thing, but was just worried if DBf was able to check in and I wasn't. Big hugs to you (My smilies don't work anymore!)

They used to issue tickets for check-in at dtd but don' t anymore. When we went in Aug there was no voucher.

In July, we had one voucher between the two of us travelling

We had no vouchers when we went in August. The only thing the guy did was ask to see our tickets and to make sure we were Virgin Holiday customers so he knew whether to charge us or not :D

You guys are the best-thanks for setting my mind at rest-off now to find something else to obsess about! Only 13 more days of worrying about the perfect holiday!

We used it 2 days ago. The chap asked us for our voucher but when I explained we never received one he simply produced one and completed everything without any fuss.

A wonderful service and I was amazed how easy it was . We were able to be at Sea World in time for park opening and as a consequence managed to squeeze virtually another full day into our programme

We received one voucher for the 2 of us with our tickets last week

We had a voucher, but when we checked in last week nobody asked us for it!

We've done the check-in in the past when we've been as a holiday package. This year we're flights only as we now have DVC. Can we use the check in? Someone up there mentioned about being charged for it if they weren't a virgin holiday person... do you know how much that would be? It might be worth it for the time we could save....
Also how do people get to the check in. When we did it before we combined it with the GF breakfast and therefore got transport from our hotel with virgin (well their reps)
Thanks

Yes you can still check-in if your flying Virgin Atlantic, but at not on a Virgin Holidays package deal. If I remember correctly, it costs something like $10 per person - well worth it when it means you can squeeze in almost an extra day in the parks.

We did the GF departure breakfast thing last year. This year (and the year before last), we just got a cab from our resort to DTD. Again, a small price to pay for an extra day in the parks. :D
