Right my head is spinning with all the annual pass, sponsorship or just plain buying some tickets.

Price found for 4 for 3 day pass is £77 each online. Can anyone talk me through the cheapest way of doing this for 2 people. Is it worthwhile to buy one Dream pass and then one 3 for 4 day pass, this way getting the discount for restaurants etc and is there time to do the sponsorship thing between now and Christmas?

A fantasy pass is about £80 with sponsorship discount from here. It still gives you the discounts, but not as many other benefits as the dream, like hotel discounts etc. I can sponsor you if you want. Still plent of time.

It's a confusing business all right!

I went to DLP in Sept with 4 others. We got 4 fantasy passes and one dream pass. I would definitely recommend getting the dream pass if you are going - we more than made up for the extra cost when you take into account the 10% off resturants and the 20% off the shops! Sorry Edinburghlass,

The Dream pass was 179 Euros less the 10% discount with sponsorship which worked out at about £112 - deffo worth it in my view! We saved a fortune on the discount in the shops and resturant which more than paid for the extra cost in buying the pass. Also, the discount on hotels is great if you decide to go back - we're going back in Feb for a fraction of the cost.

Yes possibly - cant find the blackout dates at the minutes, but if this is the case I think you will both need Dreams, or else get that 4 for 3 day ticket you mentioned. For us it wasnt worth getting the dream over the fantasy, but it was worth getting the fantasy. You'd prob be better working out how mcuh you think you will spent on shopping/food, and how much the discount would save you and see if this covers the higher price of the dream pass. And think about if you will go back within the year too.

Any news if the free childs AP with an adult AP has been extended beyond early Jan? Last link I can find suggested 8th Jan I think and I don't go till the end Jan - doh!

As someone else has already said, if you're even considering returning within a year of your visit, I think an annual pass is the way to go. A Dream pass will save you 20% on your souvenirs, and gives you at least 10% discount (and up to 30%) on Disney hotel room-only prices.

I recently used my Dream pass to book the Cheyenne - I was very impressed with the price I paid.
