Hi me my husband and two kids aged 7 and 4 are goin 26th sep for four nights i think annual passes are the best option for us if someone can give me more info on this it would be a great help

There are 3 types
Cheapest is Francilien but it cant be used on 2nd and 3rd days

Next is Fantasy - costs about same as a 3 day pass

Most expensive is dream - this has much better benefits (bigger discounts etc)

There are blackout days when Francilien and fantasy cant be used

There is a link in the FAQ sticky which gives more info.

Childs APs cost the same. There is an offer on at the moment for under 7s free AP so you only need 3.
If you want sponsorship you will get a discount but cant get it with adult AP which will get you free childs AP if you see what I mean. So you would buy one full price AP and get 4 yr old free then get other 2 APs with discount through sponsorship.

thats great thanks for the speedy reply :cool1: so i get sponsorship for two dream passes and just buy the other one ok so where do i go to get them over there and does it take very long :flower3: :flower3:

The best way is to buy them at the Guest relations desk at the park entrance, you will then be given a temp AP which you need to exchange at the AP office in the park - near the entrance to discoveryland. It shouldnt take too long but you all need to go as they take your photo for the pass.

If you want a sponsor post a request on this thread and someone will pm you

As this is not yet a sponsor request putting into a new thread :thumbsup2

As A Small World says if you are looking for a sponsor just put up a request in the sponsor thread :)

we bought APs a few weeks ago

the process was over with quite quickly

there was a short queue @ guest relations, but this was late afternoon

x

You can also get the temporary ones from the Walt Disney Studios and then get the permanent one from Guest Relations just inside the gates, may be a smaller queue there than in the Disneyland Park

There was absolute no queue in Guest relations at about 12 noon for AP last weekend.

Just got back and agree with previous posts it is so easy!

If you are being sponsered you can only get the annual pass from the annual pass office inside the park. You have to buy a one day ticket for each of the sponsered passes so that you can get into the park and then it is refunded at the annual pass office.

If you aren't being sponsered you can get a tempory pass from guest relations which is a small window to the left of the entrance ticket booths and then you get your permenant one inside the park at the office.

We went at 10am and there wasn't any queue at all, it took about 1/2 hour for 5 of us to be processed.

Have a really wonderful holiday

Im sure you can get a pass with sponsorship at the entrance to the park as well as from the AP office.
If you buy a day pass to get in you cant get a childs one refunded if getting a free childs AP so this will make it more expensive

That's correct :thumbsup2

You must have ID with you, so make sure you have your passport. I went last week to get my son's AP and had to return later, as I had left our passports in the safe back at DCR.

Maybe things have changed because we tried to get the sponsered passes (on 5th Aug 08) at the guest relations desk and they told us it was not possible for them to issue them there and that the only place to get the sponsered passes was from the office inside the park.

We could buy and did buy the full price pass for 1 of the adults in our party which then enabled us to get the free child pass from the guest relations but everything else had to be purchased at the annual pass office in the park.

This is just my experience of what happened when we were there 3 weeks ago, but like with everything at the park I guess it may depend on which CM you get to speak to on the day :confused3
