Do I have to be a Florida resident to purchase an annual passholder? We do have friends who live in Florida that can purchase for us but once we get to the parks, will they ask for proof of residence? Any help would be appreciated. - thanks, Nancy

Anyone can buy an annual pass. Then there is the Florida annual pass which is for Florida residents and they will need proof that you live in Florida.

All APs require showing ID when you activate it.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Will look into the AP right away. - nancy

just be careful when buying Annual Passes (AP) because you can get addicted real quick real easy.

We bought APs thinking Oh, we'll just do 2 trips in a year.... WRONG!!!! We ended up doing 4 trips before our APs expired! And now we got new APs and we're doing it again! :rotfl:

Don't say that, I'm getting my first one this year. Would really love to get one more trip out of the card prior to June 2006 but can't take our daughter out of school so it is rather hard to plan. As you can see we are from your neck of the woods so a trip for MLK or Presidents Day 2006 would be real treat and would help to cure those winter blues. Even if we had to stay off site.

Oh aren't you telling the truth.

I planned on 2 trips in a one year period and wouldn't you know it I managed to sqeeze another trip just 8 weeks later in there before they expire.

They are dangerous little suckers.

Got ours a year ago 4/28/05 and we are on our 4th trip. You get addicted to the AP rates and the FREE (so to speak) park tickets. Makes it very easy to come up with an excuse to go back again and again.

Yup, I fell for that right away. The two time planned use for my first AP in 1998 turned into 4 times! The one extra time was in early December 1998 "just this once let's try the holiday season since we have AP's". Last December was the 7th year in a row.................. :teeth: Plus I purchased DVC in 1999! So cost savings is questionable! :)
