That was talking about TSL, which included Gold AP. So don't get wrapped up on the Gold part. That's why I added the part in bold. This will not include any Gold AP

That was for a different event. This will be platinum and up only.

The TSL Passholder event was open to Gold. The SWGE one will not.

Oh well, that's what I get for not reading properly. Thanks anyway! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for something through DVC but I'm not holding my breath.

A lot of WDW news on Disney Parks Blog today (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Grand Floridian, new restaurant in America Pavillion at Epcot, 4th of July entertainment lineup). Maybe the emails are coming later today to add to the Thursday news roundup?

Or, if it was going to come today, it would have come in the above batch of news. LOL! So, we keep waiting...

Don't be too sure this won't be a paid event. It's all just rumor, but I read somewhere there was discussion of making it $99pp. Who knows if that's a real possibility but it would sure cut down on the number of people grabbing a spot just to be grabbing it or who aren't sure they're going at all and get a spot just in case.

I got one of those disney destinations emails today too with the dapper dans saying thanks for visiting last week. It was while I was interviewing someone for a job and I almost excused myself (luckily i could see the preview of the email on my watch haha)

Same here - got a text alert for a Disney Destinations email and a special message. Instead of a Dapper Dans gif, it really just should’ve been Obi Wan smiling, waving his hand and saying “These are not the special messages you were looking for ...”

No, it's not going to be a paid event, it's from the DPB who is official by the way that it's a free event for AP. Not the preview event anyway.

Thanks for the information, wasn't trying to get anyone in an uproar. I certainly wouldn't want it to be a paid event as I'm one who may well grab reservations and end up not getting to go depending on what Disney will do to help change dates on some pre paid events I have.
