Did anyone choose the Savi option?

I did! My boyfriend really wants one so we're doing that plus Smuggler's Run.

Question: So my mother might actually be able to come! I booked our preview as Smuggler’s Run + Savi. We are both adults, and we BOTH want to make lightsabers. Is my reservation via preview for Savi mean only 1 of us can make a lightsaber(builder) and one of us watch(guest)? Or can both of us be builders? We are the last slot on our days. I wonder if there is a set time we have to go to Savis. Or will we be let in at any time during our preview?

I was expecting it to be faster than 3.5! I'm pleasantly surprised.

I wonder if it was the same responds that Disneyland received when SWGE offered preview to AP holders.

Im pretty sure you both can. I remember seeing that at least one person had to build and the other could watch but the wording made it sound like both could purchase.

Yeah I’m pretty sure they’ll be fine with as many people paying the $199 to build one as long as they chose the Savi option. The one guest is because the room where it is built is small and can only accommodate a certain amount of people, so they don’t want a builder and his family of 5 accompanying him in the building room

I’m registered. Still no confirmation email but I screenshotted the web page with my Order Number. Did everyone get their confirmation email?

No there was a few of us that didn't get confirmation emails. I just got off the phone with Disney. The CM said as long as you have the order number then you are good to go.

Yikes, last minute (relatively speaking) airfare from the UK can't be cheap. Unless you already had a trip planned!

When I booked at like 8:50 am this morning the 1-5 was the last time slot for the 17th. Idk why there wasn’t a later one

That's when I booked as well. I wonder if there is another group having previews after that time or if Disney decided to not keep it open late on the first day of AP Previews.

We got a reservation for August 21, but I didn’t see an option for either the cantina or lightsaber experience. did I miss out on getting either experience or will it be possible to book it later?

We actually got really lucky here - we were already going to be at Disney 8/20-8/27 and our AP’s run out on the 28th.... the day before GE opens! I’d pretty much accepted that we wouldn’t get to see it until at least next year but now thanks to this preview we can I have 2 very excited kids tonight!

Oh and I just checked... a last minute flight for those dates would now cost $1160 each

I never received the email, but thanks to this thread, we were able to book! Airfare was incredibly cheap. Hotel booked.

We actually got really lucky here - we were already going to be at Disney 8/20-8/27 and our AP’s run out on the 28th.... the day before GE opens! I booked our flights, last night. $59 going from IND to MCO. $42 returning. That price is outrageous!

DL didn't have AP previews. They had reservations for people with hotel reservations only and was over three weeks instead of 4 days. The time slots sold out but they had a lot of no shows that kept the crowds very low.

I got a reservation for Aug. 18 and didn't have the other options either, I'm guessing those ran out first and all that was left were the smugglers run only reservations. I'm ok with it since I'm not a big drinker, and the drinks they have don't appeal to me, and I'm not buying a lightsaber, but those are things I guess I'll have to come back at a later date to try along with the other ride.

Same for me here. I couldn't book either experience. But the land and MFSR is A-OK with me!
