Hi Everyone,
Doing some hunting for cost of room and tickets. We have park hopper tickets from a previous trip. I believe there is 1 day left on each of them. If I decide to buy annual passes can I trade in my Park hopper pluses to help save on the annual pass. Also what kind of discount can I get if I join AAA on the room? We want to stay at the Contemporary so I have to fanagle (is that a word and if it is, did I spell it right?) the money around as much as I can. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Terri

You can trade one hopper towards one annual pass. I have no idea about AAA. I love your spelling of the word and have NO idea if it is spelled correctly, and frankly, it is not an issue. :)
Most people will understand, and if not, what fun you will have watching them try to figure it out. LOL. Have a great day!!!

if your upgrading your one day pass for an annual pas, no need to join AAA,you get a better discount with the annual pass on rooms, you need to have the annual pass when checking, AAA is about 10 % off rack rate peak season, ap is about 38% off rack rate for easter this year, the rates just came out for ap.

Keep in mind that when you are using the value of old tickets for credit, it can only be done at a Guest Relations location at any of the four major parks or at DTD. It cannot be done at the resort.

finagle.

Pronunciation: f&-'nA-g&l
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): fi·na·gled; fi·na·gling /-g(&-)li[ng]/
Etymology: perhaps alteration of fainaigue (to renege)
Date: circa 1924
transitive senses
1 : to obtain by indirect or involved means
2 : to obtain by trickery
intransitive senses : to use devious or dishonest methods to achieve one's ends
- fi·na·gler

I think you mean meaning #1.
LOL

After I posted I thought about it and had other questions.
1) Where did I need to go to update my passes? This has been answered. Except can I do this at the disney store?

2)What kind of discount could I get with an annual pass on the room? Was thinking about getting AAA and going ahead and getting discount with them. We are not going until after Thanksgiving. AP's are not out for that time period yet. We want to stay at the Contemporary. I am afraid that if I don't make reservations now I will not be able to get a room.
We are also staying two nights at Daytona beach and 1 night on the road going and coming back home. We can use the AAA to help get discounts on these rooms. Can I make reservations now at AAA rate then when AP comes out transfer to AP rate?

You guys are great!

As you can tell I am in the early stages of planning and will probley have at least a million more questions. I love planning but it makes me very nervous and anxious.

I love the correct spelling and the definition. I agree I think number one is the right definition for what I am trying to do.
:crazy: ::yes::
