Annual passes

Bought annual passes back in January. Have not activated them as we are not going until the end of July. Just want to be sure that if we end up not going in July and thus do not activate the passes then they will be good for a year of entry starting on whatever date we do eventually activate them (at a park gate). They say they don't expire until 2030 so i am guessing that is the case but just wanted to check here.
