Hi
We are wanting to buy annual passes on 22nd June... What is the process, I am right in thinking we buy on the gate, and then go somewhere to exchange for a pass? Can this be done anytime that day?
Thanks :)

Hi here is the sponsor thread there is some one there on your dates :)

This will give you 10 percent off your AP
You can buy a one day park ticket then go to the AP office and have it upgraded to a AP.
They take your day ticket off the price of the Ap.
You will need to check what time the office shuts.
If you do get sponsored you need to go with them to the Ap office.

you don't have to buy a one-day ticket - you can just buy your AP at the gates of the park (guest services might be quieter than the regular ticket booths) and then sometime that day before the AP office closes, you exchange the day ticket you get for your permanent AP. Remember you need your passports/photo ID with you for everyone who is getting an AP.

Sorry !
what I meant was would this not work out cheaper for you?
Unless you are a share holder of course.

I'll be in the park on the 22nd if you want someone to sponsor your APs, you will get 10% off the price.
If your a shareholder your going to get 15% off anyway so no need to bother with a sponsor.

Morning jonjo :)
You need you of had your AP for a month before you can sponsor someone.
So maybe in your next trip you both could offer to sponsor then.

Well that's a shame, don't know about the month rule.

Me again, sorry. If getting a family discount, do all the APs have to be the same level? Or could I get 4 Franciliens (for DH and the kids!) and a Dream ( for myself :-) ) as that works out cheaper than 5 Fantasy passes ...

The blockout dates are OK for us this trip and we can work around them for the next trip which is likely to be in March.

I can't answer your question about whether the passes all need to be the same however remember the Francilien passes can't be used the 2 days after purchase/activation (i.e. day 2 and 3)

I'm pretty sure I have read on here that they need to be the same catagory pass

They dont have to be the same category - we have in the past bought 4 fantasy and 1 dream:goodvibes

But just to reconfirm what has been said, the Francilliean ap can NOT be used the 2 days after purchase

however...........at the moment there is a bring a friend offer in the parks where AP holders can buy a ticket for a friend for 21 euros. This can be done once you have had your ap for one day. So you could buy the francillieans, use them the first day, and then the fantasy pass holder could buy upto 5 tickets the next day for 21 euro each.

I stand corrected, good to know :)

We're staying offsite from July 8th-18th so at present the plan is to go to DLP on the afternoon of the 10th or 11th, get the APs and a disability pass for myself sorted and come back then the 15th-17th for full days :). Morning EMH are wasted on us because we're slow starters and the kids don't need things like parking on their passes!

Is guest services the building to the right of Salon Mickey? I went there once to get a replacement park ticket.
We'll be buying Dream Passes at the gate, but wont be arriving at dlp until late evening, I dont think the park will be open at that time, but if it were could we get the temp AP in the evening and the permanent the following day, as I assume the AP office closes office hours ?
Failing that if we arrive at the gates at 8am will we qualify for EMH with the temp AP?

Yes Jill. Just before the gates on the far right hand side that are nearest to the DLH :-)
BUT you can only exchange your temp AP ticket bought at guest services etc, on the day of purchase. You can not buy it one day and exchange the next I'm afraid. Your best best is to turn up early as your second choice states and do it that way.
As our trips cross (YEY!!!) we can sponsor you if you want (though I think your shareholders will still be valid then?)

Will the 21 Euro Friend ticket give you access to EMH?

It does not Jonjo. However..... DH bought me my 21 euro ticket and as I am a shareholder we then went into Salon Mickey for a nice cup of coffee etc and we left there at 09:40 with no issues. :)

Thanks Lisa :thumbsup2. My SH is still valid then and I've had another thought, I could order them by post before we go, looking at past years on dlrp magic, park closing that week is 10.00, so we might just squeeze an hour or two in first night if I get them in advance. Cant believe we're there at the same time, so exciting :)
