Annual passes & segway tour

Hi guys

I posted a thread the other day about annual passes, which meant that I found out that I can book annual passes before we leave home and collect them at WDW and they will not start until first use.

What I would like to know now is, I realise that you get discounts being an annual passholder, when do these start? Is it not until after you first use your pass?

We were hoping to book the segway tour of Epcot for our Easter trip and I wondered whether we could get a discount on this.

Also, can anyone tell me the best way to go about booking the segway tour?

I'm not sure about the AP issue, we used a DVC discount when we booked the segway tour. We booked the tour by phoning WDW-PLAY. You can book the tour one year in advance so you will be able to book it now (we booked ours in March for our Christmas trip.)

you don't have to have an AP at the time you book.
You just have to have the AP when you actually show up for the tour.

However be sure to tell them that you have an AP at booking time, since you pay at the time you make reservations. So you get the discount right at that time.

Thanks very much for your replies, Dana & Beth, they are really helpful. I will organise our APs soon, and book the tour. That is really good news that we can get the discount as I didn't think it would be possible.
