Annual Passes Question

I purchased a childs annual pass 2 years ago and never used it.

My question is "Will I be able to upgrade this pass now to a adult pass because my child is now 10 years old"?

If I can upgrade this pass " Would it be possible for me to use this pass once it is upgraded (as an adult pass) or would my 10 year old child have to use it"?

I have already book our hotel with the AP rate so I will have to have an AP for myself.

Was the original child's pass activated? Or is it still just a voucher?

I will assume that you actually purchased a voucher rather than an actual pass. (If you had purchased the actual pass, it would have expired and no longer have any value).

If a voucher has never been exchanged for an actual pass, you should be able to use it as a "credit" and apply it against the purchase of another pass (adult AP if you like). It will be kind of like having a gift certificate equal to the amount you originally paid for the voucher.

I doubt you can "upgrade" it to an adult's pass for no charge since it was never activated/used.

Correct. It can be done as long as the value of the new pass exceeds the credit from the old pass. You cannot use it towards a lesser pass and get a refund for the difference.
