Annual Passes - purchase at park gates?

Can someone please confirm if Annual Passes can be purchased at all park gates. My first day will be at Animal Kingdom. Can I buy them there? Also, do I show them my DVC membership card and will they honour the discount?

Absolutely! I've done it at MK with my DVC without any issues and DH has bought his at Epcot with FL resident discount without any problems.
