Annual Passes & Disney Dollars

Quick question...Can my kids use their Disney Dollars they will have accumulated over time and received for Christmas towards their annual passes for next year, or are Disney Dollars only good for merchandise?

Any help is appreciated...

disney dollars can be spent ANYWHERE in Disney World. Hope this helps. Have a great trip!!
