Annual passes and magic your way

His is probably a silly question but does my Annual Pass have to be activated to start using fast pass plus? I want to buy an annual pass and link it to my magic your way account in order to book fast passes 60 days out but do not want to activate my annual pass until I actually go to the world. Is that possible?

I just went through this process recently. I purchased my Annual Pass about 60 days before our trip. I was able to link it to our reservation. Just before going into a park on the first day of the trip I had to step over to guest relations / ticketing to activate the annual pass. That set day 1 of the year. It was a smooth process. So you were able to make fastpass+ 60 days out before you actually activated your pass at the park? Sorry trying to decide when to purchase our AP for our trip in September.

Yes, you can get your FP+ reservations prior to activating it. You will get a voucher number emailed to you when you purchase your AP. Use that number to link your AP and you're good to go! I had the same concerns when I purchased mine in January, but it worked perfectly. Good luck!

Just purchased APs (first ever! ) through my MDE account. Logged in first, then purchased the passes. They showed up immediately under my tickets, and FP+ and dining reservations opened. Our trip is still 142 days away, but I started making dining reservations just because I could!
