Annual Passes and Discount

Quick Question for Everyone,
Do you know if the back of the annual pass designates if you are a "DVC" member or a "Florida Resident". I used to live in Florida and still get emails for Florida residents. In November there is a 35% off merchandise deal for "Florida Residents and Passholders". It says you need to show your "current valid Florida Drivers License OR a Passholder ID and their Key to the World Resort card". Do you think that I will get the discount with my DVC annual pass or do I need to have a specific Florida annual pass?

If your pass doesn't have "Florida Resident" on it, I don't think you will get that one. DVC passes are not noted in that way. It's just a discounted pass.

We just bought new annual pass vouchers in September and activated them a couple weeks ago and it does indicate on the actual pass that it is a DVC pass. It says "Annual Park Hopper DVC (upgr) Ages (10+)" on each pass.
