We are goint to DW in Dec and planning to purchase an AP that we can use again in April when we go. My brother and his wife are going in January. Can we pass our AP's along to them or is there identifying info on them that prevents that?

Each AP has your name imprinted on it and the first time you use it your finger is scanned and input into a database. Then each time you go into the parks your finger is scanned to make sure it matches your original scan.

So no, it's non-transferrable. :smooth:

FYI - if your fingers don't scan correctly (and they won't if you give your APs to your friends) then they will ask you for a picture ID. If the name on teh ID doesn't match the name on the passes, your friends won't be allowed in.

Sometimes the passes don't work correctly (or the scanner isn't reading them), and again, they'll ask for a picture ID.

While it would be nice to save the money, I think your friends would be taking a real chance of not getting into the parks. Don't know if Disney would confiscate the passes or not, but personally, I wouldn't try it.

FYI!!
