OK - this is probably the wrong place to ask this but can anyone tell me the best way to buy some APs using the DVC discount?
Should I order now or wait til we arrive ?
Also do I need to have the AP itself before I can buy a DDE card?
One more thing - where do I find the dates for DVC discount to MNSSHP?- I have searched DVC.com with no luck.

Hi Irene

I have ordered my MVMCP tickets via member services as they will tell you what dates are discounted for DVC members.
You can also buy your AP while you are on the phone with them, or you can wait till you get there, but you can't say what the $$ rate is going to be then, could be better, then again it could be right down.
I think you do have to have your AP, or at least the exchange voucher to order your DDE card.

Just to add to what Squitty has already said.

We orderd our AP's on line via the DVC members site about 3 months before we were due to visit (the exchange rate was good) and received exchange vouchers.

We exchanged these for our APs at the Guest Services desk in Downtown Disney and purchased a DDE card at the same time. BTW we put the DDE card to good use and certainly saved far more than what we paid for it.
