Annual Pass with DVC discount ?

What exactly does the TIW card give you in benefits for $60? I haven't read about this before. Is it just a discount card for your meals?

Thanks!

Thanks, LisaS,
This pretty much answers my questions. I believe that an early poster said that we will not be able to get our Annual Passes and TIW at our resort (SSR). So that means that we'll have to check in and then go to a guest services location before we go to lunch. We are not getting the DDP. I must not have been clear in my original posting. I appreciate your help.
I think the confusion was due to terminology. You had asked whether your KTTW card would have the meal plans on them which is something that applies only to the Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Dining Experience/Tables In Wonderland is really a discount card not a meal plan. The card holder gets a 20% discount at participating restaurants for him/herself and up to 9 more people dining with the card holder whose meals are on the same check. Since the card is good for one year and can be used even if you are not staying on property, they issue you a separate DDE/TIW card rather than record your membership on your KTTW card.

By the way, Artists Palette at SSR is one of the few counter service restaurants that takes the DDE/TIW card so be sure to take it with you if you eat there during your stay.

We do not have photo ID cards in Britain yet (they are on the way). Do I have to carry my passport everywhere with me to show when I use my TIW card or will I only need it when I purchase the annual pass and TIW card.
Thanks for your help
Hugs
Joanne
You need a photo ID to purchase the discounted AP. I've never needed it for anything else. I just carry my driver's license out of habit I guess or if we rent a car and I actually need to have it with me.

It gets you a 20% discount on meals and drinks at a lot of table service restaurants. As LisaS just pointed out, you also can get the discount at counter service locations at the resorts that don't have table service. You have to be either a FL resident or an AP holder to purchase the TIW card.

Hey there, do you know what is qualify for discount and what isn't? I understand they have the grab and go section there and also regular gorcery items like dairy stuffs.
