If buying an annual pass today and looking to use the annual pass discount for hotel in June when is the pass active from? When we use it to book hotel or from first day it’s used to enter a park? Can you use it for hire discount before active in park?

You can book with the discount any time. Your pass is active once you go to Guest Service and activate it.

I am in the same boat, we will be staying on property (DVC) and our 60 day FP window is next week. Can I still do FP at 60 days or do I have to wait till 30 days like regular annual passholders without reservations ?

With an onsite stay (DVC is an onsite stay) you can book at 60 days out for the length of the onsite stay. Onsite stay overrides the AP limit of 7.

An exception is if you have multiple visits planned in a short time (within the same FP booking window). If you have an offsite visit planned as well, that would trigger the 7-day limit. If you only have the DVC stay planned right now, you are good for length of stay.
