How many days do you have to go to make the annual pass worth buying?

How much is the AP and how much is a 10 day pass?

i was looking at the website cash rooms and looking at the differences between 7 8 9 and 10 days for tickets but i couldn't find 11 12 13 or 14 day passes.

not saying we'd go every single day but if we stayed at DVC for 14 days is it better to buy an Annual pass instead of a 10 day pass?

anyone know the cost for both adults and kids?

It depends on what you want. A 10 day base ticket with expiration is approximately $250. This lets in into 1 park a day (same park). A 10 day park hopper is approximately $300 with expiration 14 days after 1st use.

An AP for DVC with discount is $377 (approx.). If you go more than once within the same year, I would go the AP route.

Yes- even if you go once a year...you can make an AP work. We we rotate our january week each year between the second and thrid week so we can get two trips out of the pass.

From the member site:
Adult 10+ Child 3-9
Annual Pass price: $348.00 $307.00 (this is price after $100 disc.)

Every Walt Disney World Annual Pass provides:
Unlimited admission* for 365 days to the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks
The flexibility to go from Theme Park to Theme Park on the same day
A wide array of Passholder benefits, such as special Passholder events throughout the year
Theme Park parking

Hope this helps :)

AP is the best get the DDE card if you are not on the DDP and you save the extra money the second time you use the card THATS WHAT I WOULD DO

Thats what we do in June /early July .Last year we ended up with 25 days on our AP it's very nice to not worry about using a day just to go in and catch a nighttime show or a few rides.

Yes the DDE is well worth it even when not going to the parks everyday you still do have to eat.

thanks - doing the numbers it's prob cheaper for us to get a 10 day pass since we only do one park per day and don't do the water parks yet.

thanks for all the info.

We have found that we don't feel like we have "wasted" a days ticket use if we only go to the parks for an hour or so with an AP versus a regular ticket.

Yep! :thumbsup2 That's what we do -- then we go 51 weeks later to use the AP for a 2nd trip! And the DDE card gives you 20% off most meals.

We are doing the same thing this January (and next). And since we already have the annual pass, my husband and I are thinking about taking a 3 day weekend in the fall (no kids!). Might as well make the most of the AP!:rolleyes1
