Annual Pass Vouchers & Expiration Dates

We accidentally forgot to renew our annual passes before they expired, so we now need to get new ones.

If I order them online or over the phone, will I receive a voucher for an annual pass or the pass itself? Will it expire a year after I order it or a year after I first use it?

You will receive a voucher that will have to be exchanged at a Guest Relations location at WDW for the actual AP. The AP will expire one year from the day you do the exchange.

We forgot to renew ours also, but when we called we were told that we can renew up to 30 days after the expiration date.

Thanks for the help! That's what I figured, but I wanted to confirm. Unfortunately they expired back in mid-May, so we're past the 30 day window. Oops!

If your next trip isn't until late November, it wouldn't be economical to renew your annual pass. You would lose too much time between May and November. Just order a new voucher.

That's what we're going to do. I think we might even be able to squeeze an extra trip out of them if we get new ones that will renew in November. So in a way, this actually is a good thing to get a new pass.
