Annual Pass Voucher question

I know that if you buy an annual pass voucher that it runs a year from the date it is activated. What I need to know is if you don't get the voucher activated within a year from purchase does it run out? or is it good till activated no matter how long that is?

I am suppose to be going in the spring so going to buy the vouchers now, but IF anything happened and we could not go till a year or more just want to know if I could still activate the voucher when we do finally go.

As far as I know, the vouchers never expire.

As far as I know, the vouchers never expire.

They don't expire but WDW reserves the right to exclude parks that may have opened between the time you bought and activated the voucher. Since there's nothing in the near future, shouldn't be a problem.
