Annual pass upgrade

If I purchase a 1 or 2 day ticket to be used during blockout dates, is it still possible to upgrade to an annual pass on the last day of the trip?

Taking the family just before Christmas. Can't justify the single day ticket prices, so we're content just hanging out at the resort and being out of the cold up north. But if I could put that money towards the sorcerers pass for DVC members, it might make more sense as we typically go twice a year.

When you upgrade a ticket you have actually used, then you are restricted to buying an AP that would have included those dates, as the AP is backdated to the first date you used the ticket. So if you use the two day ticket December 24 and 25, and then go to upgrade on the 25th to an AP, your only option would be to upgrade to an Incredipass since that is the only AP that would have covered those days.
