Annual Pass & Swan & Dolphin

OK at this second I have reservations on a 24 hour hold for S&D for Christmas day thru Jan 1st. Annual Pass rate.

I've already made arrangements to buy annual pass vouchers in October however they are vouchers and we are arriving very late on the 25th (probably around 11 pm check in)

Will there be a problem with just having the voucers and not the actual passes to the next day to get the annual pass rate for THAT first night?

I have never been asked to show my Annual Pass at any Disney hotel upon check in, I've always had the actual pass too. Will i encounter any problems at the Dolphin?

I am sure you will be fine. You will love the S/D at Christmas! The only thing you won't have that disney resorts have is the soap and Mickey wake up calls. Plus, you can't charge on your room card in the parks, only at the hotels.(S/D)

Thanks. We never charge anything back to the room from the parks so that's no biggie.


I could not believe that I got AP Disconts for this time period. We were going to stay at the Pop Century but for a mere $40 a night more (tax included) we can stay at the Dolphin.

I've been at Disney at Christmas and just the thought of not having to do the bus route on New Years Eve, and fight the crowds and just to walk back to the room after midnight is well worth the extra $200 it'll cost us for the week.

I don't mind the holiday crowds, at that time of year I expect them and plan accordingly but at 2 am in the morning, I really don't want to have to deal with a bus if I don't have too.

Don't tell anyone but I've got a drawer full of Mickey soaps, LOL We stayed at the S&D for two nights at Easter time and actually PREFERRED the oatmeal soap they give you.

Maryanne ~ You are so right about the ability to walk. A few year's ago I was there for NYE, staying at POFQ. It was a nightmare getting back from MGM after the NYE fireworks. Those were the days when my ignorance re:S/D was in high gear! LOL

Also, right about the oatmeal soap. I, too, have a large assortment of Disney toiletries. I have now begun my collection of oatmeal soap.
