I've got a conference next week in Orlando and just decided to get tickets to US/IOA. I know I can get the $86 week pass, but I'm thinking about getting an annual pass since my family may go next summer (more likely to if I already have a pass).

I like to use Valet parking, and I know that you get free valet with the Premier pass.

The Preferred pass lets you pay for two hours valet with the rest of the day free, but I don't know how much that first two hours costs because I haven't been in a couple of years.

I read that the Power Pass can be gotten at Publix for $99, so that's an option, but it doesn't include parking.

Does anybody know of any special deals (like the extra year that Universal ran awhile back on the Preferred pass)?

Thanks!

I haven't heard of any specials since the buy a year get one free deal expired. They probably won't do anything until spring...when the buy a year usually returns. I wouldn't fool with the Power Pass...it's worth the extra money to have free parking and the discounts to get the Preferred.

Good point!

You only need 1 preferred pass to receive free parking and the hotel discounts. It usually works best for my family to have 1 family member with the preferred pass (usually me because I go sans kids with my sister on occasion) and everyone else with the power pass. The black out dates of the power pass don't affect us because we avoid those busy times. When we've been lucky enough to hit the 2 years for 1 we've all gotten the preferred just because it made $$ sense.

Thanks! I had actually planned to get me the AP and then get the others the $86 deal (since they wouldn't be along on this trip), but it looks like my group is going to switch to RPH and get a package deal (so I won't get the AP after all).

Thanks anyway!
