they're usually called "Character" outlets (or some such) -- not Disney outlets. there's also one near Wal-mart on 535.

my favorite is the one on the east side of the freeway up at St. Augustine -- I generally find more stuff there than the ones in Orlando area. (only useful for those who drive).

The world of Disney store drives me crazy on a regular day! DW talks me into going by saying we can eat at the Earl of sandwich!

We'll be in Orlando on a Monday afternoon staying at a Spring Hill Suites, before checking into the Boardwalk on a Tuesday for our week long DVC stay.

Hitting one of these sounds like a perfect activity for our pre-Disney day.

This is the one we always go to. This is an official WDW outlet store (similar to the employee outlet store called "Cast Connection"). The employees are WDW cast members. We always find great after holiday items here, plus they always have the "gift" with purchase item here that you can get at the resort (canvas bags, throws). They also have pins and some toys. Items are up to 75% off. It is hit or miss. We've gotten $50 sweatshirts for $10 and other great deals. They also have a limited amount of collectibles. Generally the sales are good, but sometimes you hit on an off time. We went a few weeks ago and left empty handed as we could not find anything we wanted (or needed), but we have so much Disney stuff since we go often. Normal folks would have found something to buy. BTW, the CMs even wear pin lanyards and will pin trade with you. They also carry cruiseline merchandise and ESPN stuff. Pretty much a little of everything.

SOME PEOPLE WALKING CALMLY AROUND AS IF THEY WERE SHOPPING ON THE BOARDWALK TAKING FOR EVER TO DECIDE IF THE KIDS WOULD LIKE FOR CHRISTMAS WHILE OTHERS CAME IN ACTING AS IT WAS THE LAST CHANCE TO GET WATER AND IM FROM NYC !. BEST THING TO TEST IS HEADACHE MEDICINE, GO THERE, COME OUT AND TRY SOME AND SEE IF IT WORKS. YOU GET THE IDEA
