Annual Pass Resort Discounts

I am considering purchasing an annual pass in order to get a discount at the Polynesian at Easter time. I don't think the discounts have come out yet for that far in advance. Has anyone else used an AP discount during a holiday time and what kind of a discount did you get? Also, when should these discounts come out? Should I just book the room now and apply the discount later???

I would book the room now and watch for discounts. You don't have to buy the AP until you get the discount. However, Holiday periods are traditionally harded to get AP discounts for.

I only need one night (it's for after our cruise) and so I would have to pay the full price for a deposit. The price is 400.00. Ouch! I guess I need to now how much (if any) discount I will get since I'm not thrilled about paying that much! Would I get a refund if I paid the whole price now? Then my plan is to visit WDW for a longer vacation at Christmas time to use the pass.

What I would do - since it's only one night - is stay at a less expensive resort and save your money for your Christmas trip...

There is a good possibility there won't be a discount at Easter. As I recall this year around Easter (week before and week after), there weren't any code discounts or AP discounts. I think there may have been a Disney Club discount which would have been around 10%.

Often times during busy seasons such as Easter, Disney has a minimum number of nights you must book to get certain discounts. It's usually three but can sometimes be two. I wouldn't get your hopes up too high of finding an AP discount for a single night at that time of year.

Many discounts for Ap holders...espeicailly the hotel savings.

Definately worth buying the pass.
