Hi all! Couldn’t find AP discounts for my dates by calling. Wanted to keep checking, but each time I click on AP discount section, it takes me to a place prompting me to purchase an AP. It this because it hasn’t yet been activated?

No, it doesn't need to be activated. It only needs to be purchased and linked to your My Disney Experience. In order to see the discounts, you need to make sure you're logged into the account with the annual pass, and ensure your country is 'United States (English)'.

Thanks for the information, but I tried that. My vouchers are listed in my MDE account. When I go in there and click on the resort reservation section, it gives me discounts, but not the AP discount. I must be doing something wrong.

I have the same issue.... In my tickets I see the AP assigned to me. I am on US (English)

Have you tried selecting your dates and after the field of resorts populate, click on the resort you are interested in, even if it doesn't show availability. Then when the list of resort rooms open, go to the options and see if the passholder discount button shows up. I have had to do that recently in order for the AP discount to show up and I have an active pass.

Also make sure you are completely logged in to the website, not just recognized by the saved cookies. I usually check my plans first, or specifically sign out then sign in, then go to the Special Offers list under Places to Stay. Sometimes, I have to use a private browsing/incognito window to get it to work. And absolutely make sure it’s set to US each time in the upper right. There’s lots of reports of people having the country randomly change between pages.

This is a known problem and was discussed at length on a thread about the AP price increase. A bunch of us bought our AP’s at a few places that still had them at the old rate in June, and we couldn’t view AP rates once we linked them. I’ve called and chatted with Disney and was told I couldn’t see them until my pass is activated. Others had the same problem. Some people didn’t, and I think we discovered it had something to do with how we originally linked the AP’s through MDE, as there were two different spots to do this in your account. Sorry but you’ll have to call Disney to get the rate info until you activate your AP, no one has found a fix for this yet to my knowledge.

I had that problem last week, but it was solved when I logged out of MDE, then logged back in.
