Hi everyone, I have heard this deal will be going on until Aug 30, 2010, so my question is the following.

I bought my annual passes this year in August, so they will expire in August 2010. Can I still purchase the renewal voucher for the 3 extra months, but not use the voucher until 2011? We have all our trips planned for next year, so fitting in another one would be tough. But, if we renewed them in August 2010, and get the 3 extra months, they would be good until early Nov 2011. So we could get quite a few trips out of them in 2011.

Appreciate the help. Knowing the answer to this will definitely help me make my plans for 2011.

Yes, you can renew next August (30 days before or after your renewal date), then exchange the voucher when you arrive for your next trip. It would still be effective on your renewal date.

hi - just curious as to where you heard that the 15-month promo is for non-FL residents, &/or that it's going on until Aug 2010.
WDW site & AAA both say FL Residents, and only until 12/31/09. I must just be looking in the wrong place. tia

From the passholder website:
Great news! Passholders are now able to renew passes* at the special renewal rate AND get 3 additional months— that's 15 months of Disney magic for the price of 12. What a way to save!

Think of the many reasons why being an Annual Passholder is so special. Enjoy Passholder perks like Disney Resort hotel offers, merchandise discounts and exclusive Passholder events. Perhaps you attended the Passholder sneak peek of Disney's Tinker Bell movie or a special tour of the Cinderella Castle Suite. More Passholder special events are coming your way!

One of the great benefits of being a Passholder is that you can take your time in the theme parks without feeling rushed to see and do everything in one day. Passholders love the leisure to discover everything the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer, and visit favorite attractions again and again.

Relive your most magical Walt Disney World memories and create new ones. From now to August 31, 2010, simply renew by your anniversary date, or up to 30 days after, so you can lock in your 15 months. Your renewal expires 15 months after your original anniversary date, so don't miss out on the magic—renew today!

*Offer not valid on Epcot After 4 Annual Pass. Expiring pass requred for renewal. Savings based on the non-discounted first time purchase price of the same pass. Excludes activities/events separately priced.

thanks so much for the info. we're FL residents, but our NY kids will be interested! :cool1:

The FL Resident promo that expires 12/31/2009 is for new APs. Those new APs would be valid for 15 months.

from the Disney website:
"When you buy a Disney Florida Resident Annual, Premium Annual, or Seasonal Pass, you get 15 months for the price of 12."

Florida AAA also has the 15-month promo on Renewals of the pass types mentioned above, and discounts on both new and renewals.

I may be misunderstanding your post, but since the program expires at the end of August next year, and you will still be within your window of renewal, you can get the deal.
