Annual pass questions

I am going to Disney a few times next year with my first trip in February, I plan on upgrading to an annual pass at that time. In December I am going with a friend who wants free dining and I'm fine with purchasing the package and the tickets to use at a later time. How do I ensure that when I am there in December that I am using my AP instead of the tickets purchased with the package? I want to save them to upgrade to an AP on the next trip after that.

Simply stop at guest relations before entering your first park and ask the to "prioritize" your tickets so you are using your AP and not your package tickets to enter the park.

Thank you. I had been wracking my brain trying to figure out how to make evetyone happy with the choice. That will work great I'll just prioritize a trip to DS the day we arrive.

Better still, something that does not require a trip to any Guest Relations and is even safer...
and is something that YOU can control by moving the tickets between accouts yourself.

Create a "fake name" in your MDX account ("Beau Tighe" or similar) and transfer any new, unused tickets
under "his" name. He won't be going into any parks, so those tickets will never be used.

If I have my about 10 year old children on my MDE and they won't be travelling with me could I reassign to them and then back to me after the trip instead of creating a fake one?

Hi There. Topaz here from Tag group. A couple of us, Pam, SusanL, are eating at the Rose and Crown Pub in Epcot at 7;20 pm & and staying till after the fireworks on Tues, Oct 23. Wondered if you want to eat with us.

I also doubled checked after I went into the park to make sure they used the correct ticket.
