This may be a dumb question, but is the annual pass good for one year from date of purchase, or does it always start on a specific date? DH saw the calendar on disneyland.com and it made him think that it starts in October. I'm guessing they just haven't updated the site yet. Can someone who has purchased one let me know?

We bought ours last January 13 and it is good through January 13 of this year. So it is good for an entire year from the date that you activate it! :flower:

Thank you. That is what I thought, but we were confused by the calendar.

Splitting hairs here.... It's good for one year from the date of activation. So, if you buy it January 1st but, don't activate it until February 15th, then it expires Feb. 15th, the following year.

The way that it was explained to us was that it expires the first day we used the ticket. For example, we used our 5 day pass starting on July 7th on the 5th day we upgraded our ticket to an AP. Out AP's are good until July 7th 2006.

Yes, that is correct.

One other little tidbit, the blackout days don't apply the day you buy the passport. In other words if you buy a Southern California pass on day X and day X would normally be a blackout day for that level, you can still enter DL.
