Annual Pass question

Hi so when they began selling AP's again I called and got an Incredi Pass. I asked them if they could send the voucher like we used to get in the stores because I wasn't planning on heading to the parks until this year. Well the cast member did that for me and unfortunately, now my plans for a trip later this year do not look like they are going to happen. I know in the past, those vouchers had to be turned in by 2025 (I think), does anyone know if that still holds true? I looked at the back of the pass and all it gives is the issue date from last year when I bought it. I called the WDW number and ordered it through them but a friend of mine called and did the same thing and that cast member had her link the voucher to her MDE right away so I am concerned that it may have shipped active which I didn't think would ever happen but with what seems like so many changes in AP's I don't know what to think anymore, lol.

They don’t become active until they are used the first time at the gate. Have you entered it into your MDE account yet? Your expiration date will show there.

no I haven’t put it in my MDE, but if it isn’t activated will it have an expiration date? if I add it to MDE will it tell when it needs to be activated by?

Link it to your MDE. It'll show up as a voucher, and the expiration date given will be at least 2030.

Since it's one of the new pass levels, the voucher will be valid for 1 year. After that 1 year, you can apply the purchase price towards a newly purchased one.

I must have missed something, are they selling annual passes again? I thought they were on hold?

You can no longer hold vouchers for many years. You have 1 year from purchase date to activate the AP. If you don't activate it within that time period, it reverts to a credit towards a new AP.

They restarted sales back in September, and then halted sales again in late November.

I believe OP is speaking of a pass, they bought months ago thinking they would go this year. Now they may not and is concern it might expire.

Oh, gotcha - thanks. Are there any rumors of when they'll start selling again?
