Annual Pass Question

I am looking at getting an annual pass for next year, and have begun looking at the possibilities. I am not a Florida resident, and am wondering if I bought the Platinum Pass initially, if I would be able to upgrade to a a Platinum Plus if I decided I wanted to.

Not an expert on your exact question, but...
I would bet dollars to donuts that Disney will gladly take your cash for an upgrade. It may or may not be in your favor, but if the lettuce is green Disney will grab it.

Really, at this point, I know I enjoy the water parks, and will likely enjoy the main parks, but am not sure if I will have a water park day every trip or not, since I would do mainly 2-3 day trips.

We upgraded our AP at the customer counter outside the park, we tried over the phone but Disney would not allow that as we had "will call" AP tickets purchased online and had not activated yet.

Yes you can always upgrade, I've done it a few times but know that the upgrade is at full price, there is no prorating for the months already used.

I had figured that. Disney isn't going to price something in a way that doesn't favor them first.
