Annual pass question

if I update my 9 day park hoppers to an annual pass at the last day of my trip when does the 365 day start? Would it be at the beginning of my trip or when I upgraded?

The year is calculated from the beginning of your trip.

The reason the AP is back-dated to the first day that you used the original ticket... is because you are literally upgrading the original ticket.

Otherwise, it would not be an upgrade of the original ticket, but, instead, it would be an entirely new AP ticket (which you COULD decide to buy, if the AP start-date is important.)

No advantage to waiting for the last day. Upgrade the first day to take advantage of the shopping and dining discounts.
