Annual pass question

Can I exchange my ticket that I have right now (3 day 1 park pass) for an annual pass and just pay the difference? And, do I need to be a Florida resident to get an Annual Pass? Looking at the ticket options online, they only have annual passes for Florida residents.

Thanks for the link :....I looked everywhere on their website and couldn't find it....obviously, my eyes weren't looking hard enough!

I think the page defaults to FL resident tickets so you have to look. It's a little aggrevating.
