I am hoping that someone will know the answer to this question. We are DVC members as well as owning with Wyndham Vacation Resorts. Obviously we are only leasing with DVC but with Wyndham we are actual owners and we pay property tax for it in FL. My question is does that allow me to buy our annual passes at the FL resident discount?? I can't find anything saying that you have to live there for any amount of time..so if we have a paid property tax statement saying we own property in FL, does that count???:confused3

Why don't you buy your APs using the DVC discount?

We were just looking at the different options that we have. We are military as well but there is not alot of discount offered through Shades of Green. I was really wanting the option of monthly payments for the AP vs Paying out that much money at one time, but they only offer that option to Fl. resident pass holders.

DVC is the same as Wyndham, DVC just does not break out the property taxes the same way, you are still paying them on you owned realestate interest.

If you look at your DVC statement you will see in the breakdown that exact amount you are paying in Florida property taxes.
