Okay, total newbie question here! :lmao:

How exactly does the AP work? I booked our Disneymoon room only so we could get rolling with the contract - but I wasn't sure if I should still add theme park tickets. Is AP admission to ALL parks, including Typhoon Lagoon, etc? Is it park hopper? How does it work? :teacher:

Thanks! :cloud9:

Hi!

Annual Passes give you unlimited admission to the four main parks (MK, Epcot, AK, MGM) for one year, so yes, you can park hop. The ones that Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings gives you do not offer admission to the water parks, Pleasure Island or DisneyQuest.

Hope this helps

Awww.. Well, is it possible to add the water parks or does everyone just buy tickets for the water parks separate?

I think I've heard of both happening. I think you can turn your vouchers in and 'upgrade' them to include water parks. I also think that you can just buy the water park tickets seperately, but you get a discount with the AP.

BUT... I don't know for sure and I've never done either of these things, so hopefully someone else who has the experience will chime in!

If you do not want to upgrade to an premium AP (that will include the Water Parks) then you can just use the standard AP to receive a discount. I believe that the discount is %30.....I haven't had an annual pass for a year, so I don't know if that amount has changed.

When Are You Getting Married? Because You May Want To Check First If The Water Parks Will Even Be Open They Do Close Them During Florida Winter Oct-feb Sometimes, But You Can Get An Individual Day Pass To The Water Parks At A Discount W/ Your Ap Or If You Have Aaa.

Actually they always have at least one waterpark open. they do routine matainence on Typhoon Lagoon in the some of the winter months. I cannot remember the time the Blizzard Beach is closed, but when it is, Typhoon Lagoon is open.

when i was a cm on my cp, they closed typhoon in mid nov and it was closed for quite awhile for refurb as they do every year.

blizzard beach is closed in feb i think, the last few times i have been that kind of times its been closed

Are disney AP included with all disney wedding packages?

:cheer2: Thank you :cheer2:

that's great to know when making out our budget

This question might have been answered on here before, but I am still unclear about the answer...I know you need the Magic Your Way Package to get the dining plan. DF's whole family has the dining plan and it would just be easier if DF and I did too. We booked a room at the POFQ and we have the annual passes that came with our wedding package. Does that qualify us for the Magic Your Way Package, or do you have to buy a separate ticket for it to count? If that is the case, can it be a ticket to a water park or does it have to be one of the four main parks? TIA! :upsidedow

Liz,
It's very unclear what to do in that situation. What we are doing for our planning trip is I have purchased a one day base ticket in order to get the dining plan. Now for the wedding, I don't know if that will work. We are doing a custom, so I think in order to get the discount rate for the room, we are not going to get the ticket....I have no idea in that situation. I would ask your planner. Maybe you can get a straight answer there. I LOVE  the dining plan and I feel for us, its the only way to go. I hope I was able to help some.
