Annual pass question with MDE

My family has annual passes and oldest daughter is suppose to go to WDW with her dad's family this Christmas. They are staying on property. I control all of our passes in MDE account. It's just easier since we go 3 times a year usually to organize meals, and FP+ For my 5 family members. Her grandfather controls their families' account. (My ex's). He does not want to link to me in order to add my daughter to their reservation. But she has a ticket bc of the AP to use while she stays with them. Today is 60 days out and he wants to book fast passes for everyone. He asked my daughter to link her ticket to his account by giving him her ticket number. My question is if he takes her number and links the ticket to his account will it disappear from my account? I am currently booking multiple trips as well.

He can't link it to their account, a ticket can only be linked to one account. He would need to add your daughter as a friend and family member that is traveling with him.

So he can't just add your daughter as a family member because then it would expect him to link her ticket .. and you are already in control of that ticket.

I recently traveled with another family and their Mom had an MDE account but I managed her husband and Kids and their tickets to be sure I had full control of FP+ booking.

You may need to call Disney for help on this one.

I had my 15yo son set up MDE on his iphone for our summer trip because I couldn't get it to download on my phone. As a result, his magicband is now primarily with his own MDE account. He is linked to my MDE account and is included on all of my fastpasses and room reservation, etc. I cannot control his MDE...only he can and I can control what he does with whatever is in my account. Sounds complicated but it's not. Bottom line is...your daughter can set up her own MDE and be linked to both your trips and her father's trip and it shouldn't have any effect on what you are able to do within your own MDE.
