annual pass question and buying tickets

Hi

I've just purchased my annual pass.

When we travel in October, my pass will be activated and then I can buy discount tickets for DH and DS at the gate.

Later in the year, they will be going without me. Can I still get them discounts on tickets, or do I have to enter the park with them and show my AP.

What kind of tickets will you be buying with the AP? Just a heads up that you may want to research all the tickets available. The AP discount is only good on regular, full priced tickets. In other words - you can't double dip on discounts, such as getting the AP discount on the buy 2 days, get 3 free, get free kids tickets. Sometimes, it is less expensive to get the tickets that Universal has on special.

Last year, when I was looking into purchasing tickets for friends travelling with us, I was told I could pre-order them over the phone at the AP numberand they could pick up at the kiosk (I had their cc number). Never did this, so can't validate that it is true, as we did end up getting the buy 2/get 3 free instead.
